Zusammenfassung:New 2-alkoxy- and 2-alkylthio-4,6-di(bromomethyl)pyrimidines have been synthesized and polymerized via Gilch approach. Optical and electrochemical properties of thus prepared conjugated polymers in solutions were investigated. The thin films were prepared by spin-coating and casting. The film structure was studied with the help of scanning tunneling microscopy (STM).
