Zusammenfassung: | Glass is one of the most popular and versatile building materials used today. One reason is because of its constantly improving solar and thermal performance. And one way this performance is achieved is through the use of passive and solar control low-e coatings. In architecture, the proper use of natural light can help reduce the energy consumption of a building (by reducing the heat load for heating - based on the superior of solar contributions, with an appropriate glass type and daylighting). This paper aims to present the thermal behavior of multilayer glass surfaces, low-e solar control and highlight differences to ordinary glass. |
