SULFATED PACHYMARAN PROTECTS PC12 CELLS AGAINST MPP+-INDUCED INJURY
PC12 cells treated with 0.5 mM MPP^sup +^ for 24 h were used as PD model in vitro to evaluate the neuroprotective effects of sulfated pachymaran (SP). Cell viability and apoptosis were detected by MTT assay, inverted microscope and Hoechst 33342 staining, respectively. Expression levels of Bcl-2, Ba...

Zusammenfassung: | PC12 cells treated with 0.5 mM MPP^sup +^ for 24 h were used as PD model in vitro to evaluate the neuroprotective effects of sulfated pachymaran (SP). Cell viability and apoptosis were detected by MTT assay, inverted microscope and Hoechst 33342 staining, respectively. Expression levels of Bcl-2, Bax and caspase-3 were detected by Western blotting. SP at the concentrations from 0.5 to 4 mg/mL is safe to PC12 cells. MPP+ treatment significantly decreased the cell viability, the expressions of Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 (P |
