AMERICAN EXPERIENCE OF PREPARING FUTURE FACULTY

The article is devoted to the issue of preparing faculty in the United States. The purpose of the article is to research experience of preparing faculty in the United States, beginning with training in magistracy and ending with self-education. The author argues the importance of all stages of that process - from studying at Graduate School to self-education. The analysis of trends in the field of training and professional development of faculty is made. The changes in the paradigm of preparing faculty in higher education are considered.
