Zusammenfassung: | ABSTRACT
A quad‐band planar monopole antenna that consists of a bent ground plane, pair of parasitic patches, and a radiating patch excited by a coaxial feeding is proposed. The proposed antenna design has ability to maintain its resonant frequencies in standalone mode, extended planar ground plane mode, and even when attached to a metal case. This antenna can be used for multiple applications that operate at WLAN 2.4/5.2/5.8 GHz, WiMAX 3.5/5.5 GHz and 4.5 GHz, which is used for point‐to‐point microwave and telemetry applications. The simulated and measured results of the antenna are in agreement with industry standards. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 59:588–593, 2017 |
