ANÁLISE DOS RESULTADOS DO PROGRAMA DE AQUISIÇÃO DE ALIMENTOS (PAA) NA COOPERCINCO/ANALYSIS OF THE RESULTS OF THE FOOD ACQUISITION PROGRAM (PAA) IN THE COOPERATIVE

This study seeks to understand the influence of cooperative culture and cultural diversity in agricultural cooperatives in the state of Roraima. In order to meet the proposed objective, the methodological strategy chosen was to conduct qualitative research of an exploratory and descriptive nature. Data collection consisted of interviews with representatives of 16 cooperatives in the agricultural sector, which gave opinions on the influence of the cooperative culture in their respective cooperatives. After the cataloging and analysis of the collected material, the results indicate the existence of a strong influence of the cooperative culture, mainly in relation to the management and politics of the cooperatives, factor positively evaluated. Some leaders point out the cultural differences and lack of cooperative culture as obstacles to obtaining some results. It is hoped that the results may contribute to the understanding of some problems or solutions presented by the Cooperative leaders regarding the different degrees of knowledge about the cooperative culture of the people that make up these collective societies. And we can invest in cooperative education to solve some of these problems.
