Aportación a la historia del léxico del s. XVIII: análisis de las Obras de Mengs de D. José Nicolás de Azara 1

This research consists of a lexicological characterization of the Obras de D. Antonio Rafael Mengs, primer pintor de Cámara del Rey, a theoretical treatise, published in the late eighteenth century. The author of this paper analyzes both the lexicon of the Arts and the 18th century neologisms found in the text.
