Zusammenfassung: | Knowledge Management aims to take advantage of the information and organizational knowledge available to achieve the institutional objectives. This work initially presents a conceptual categorization of Knowledge Management and adopts the Maturity Model of Knowledge Management for Public Administration, developed by Batista (2012), with the purpose of analyzing the stage of development of knowledge management within the Institutes Federal Education, Science and Technology - IFs. This is a quantitative and qualitative, exploratory and descriptive research, whose data collection is based on an adapted questionnaire, used to measure the development of the maturity stage of knowledge management in these Teaching Institutions. The results show the current level of development of each of the areas of knowledge management in relation to the institutions that presented their returns. The collected data allowed to individualize the intensity of the knowledge management initiatives perpetrated internally by the FIs. The results show that the organizational environment studied is at the initial level of maturity, that is, the adoption of practices aimed at the implementation of knowledge management in these Teaching Institutions acts in an embryonic way. It was also observed that the educational institutions better leveled according to the criterion adopted have their attention focused on the criteria of technology and learning and innovation. |
