Zusammenfassung:Inhibited temperament is a risk factor for the development of anxiety disorder in childhood and adolescence particularly social anxiety disorder (Schwartz et al., 1999, Biederman et al., 2001). Social anxiety disorder during adolescence in turn is an important predictor of subsequent depressive disorders (Stein et al., 2001) and social phobia in young adults (Pine et al., 1998).
