Zusammenfassung:In the current study using functional magnetic resonance imaging, participants completed the Missing Letter task which has been found in previous research to involve goal maintenance demands (Cohen & Servan-Schreiber, 1992), to be associated with disorganized speech symptoms in people with schizophrenia (Cohen, Barch, Carter, & Servan-Schreiber, 1999), and to involve activation of the prefrontal cortex (Kerns et al., 2004).
