SOBRE UN NOVÍSIMO CONCEPTO: LA MICROCOSMÍA SINFÓNICA. PESQUISAS IDENTITARIAS DESDE EL ENSAYÍSMO MUSICOLÓGICO DE CARPENTIER

Carpentier's narrative has had an extensive echo in the literary critique. However, an analysis of his musical essay has not been carried out yet by the Academy. In the present essay, I attempt to present the symphonic microcosm's topic, which characterize, as a source for defining identity, an important part of Carpentier's novels and musical essays. In addition, my contribution can be considered the state of the question or the theoretical framework so as to present the carpenterian essay La música en Cuba.
