Fundamental Theology for the Trinity: Karl Rahner's Contribution

This paper will examine Karl Rahner's fundamental theology as it relates to his Trinitarian the- ology, seeking to bring to the fore the elements of fundamental theology that Rahner thinks are decisive for a proper Trinitarian theology. The goal is twofold: to outline the areas of Rahner's fundamental theology that are relevant to Trinitarian studies, and to show how these elements impact decisions about and the method of one's Trinitarian theology.
