COMPETITIVIDAD DE LAS EMPRESAS AGROINDUSTRIALES DE BOYACÁ/COMPETITIVENESS OF AGRIBUSINESS COMPANIES IN BOYACÁ (COLOMBIA)/COMPETITIVIDADE DAS EMPRESAS AGROINDUSTRIAIS DE BOYACÁ (COLÔMBIA)/COMPÉTITIVITÉ DES ENTREPRISES AGRO-INDUSTRIELLES DE BOYACÁ (COLOMBIE)

Boyacá is a Colombian state, with an economic performance below the national average. The agroindustrial of Boyacá is one of the priority sectors; however, recent studies have found weakness in their competitiveness. Through the application of a measurement model of competitiveness to 79 firms of the agro-industrial sector in Boyacá, which evaluates eight functions through 38 variables, we found that the surveyed firms can be classified as non-competitive, especially due to low levels of management functions: management, trade and logistics, environmental, in external factors and human talent.
