Zusammenfassung:This study will primarily aim to place some of the major influences of medieval law. We will attempt to cover some canonical works of Greek philosophy, especially Aristotle's Nichomachean Ethics and Politics, and the most famous work of Thucydides, then the infuence on receipt of Corpus Iuris Civilis of Justinian by medieval Europe, which then entered the mode of organization and circulation of knowledge under the Universities. Finally, we will focus on some influences of the christian ethics on the formation of medieval administrative apparatuses.
