ChemInform Abstract: Ruthenium‐Catalyzed Enantioselective Hydrogenation of 1,8‐Naphthyridine Derivatives

The first asymmetric hydrogenation of 2,7‐disubstituted naphthyridines is carried out by using phosphine‐free chiral cationic ruthenium diamine catalysts achieving good to excellent enantioselectivities.
