ISGÜCÜ PIYASASI TEMEL GÖSTERGELERI BAKIMINDAN ÇOK BOYUTLU ÖLÇEKLEME ANALIZI ILE TÜRKIYE ILE DIGER OECD ÜLKELERININ KARSILASTIRILMASI

The rates of employment and unemployment are the main indicators of countries' macroeconomic performances. In addition, there is a strong relationship between employment rate and the welfare of the societies. The objective of the research is to demonstrate Turkey's position in terms of employment and unemployment rates between the years 2001-2012 among the other OECD countries with MDS analysis. Female employment, youth unemployment, total unemployment and long-term unemployment rates are used in order to compare Turkey with other 29 OECD countries. In this way, the general trend in OECD countries in terms of the variables can be seen as concrete. With this analysis, the similar and dissimilar countries are determined in terms of the variables that are used in the research
