Transmisión intergeneracional y trayectorias sociales: Las clases medias cordobesas vinculadas a la industria automotriz/Inter-generational Transmission and Social Trajectory: Cordovan Middle Classes Linked to the Automotive Industry

This article proposes to analyze the inter-generational trajectory of a group of Cordovan middle-class families linked to the development of the automotive industry and technical education. We look into the ways in which social-reproduction strategies posited to delineate trajectories of permanence or promotion in medial positions of the social space have been elaborated. Taking various generations of the same family allows us to reconstruct this history from the middle of the XX century on, analyzing labor insertions against the socio-historical transformation processes that have taken place in the providence of Cordoba (Argentina) since that time. Different family environments are studied in which the transmission of regulations involving this sector were produced, as well as the continuities and/ or variations in the trajectories
