ChemInform Abstract: One‐Pot Synthesis and Evaluation of Antileishmanial Activities of Functionalized S‐Alkyl/Aryl Benzothiazole‐2‐carbothioate Scaffold

The three component condensation of 2‐aminothiopenols, oxalyl chloride and aryl or alkyl thiols efficiently provides various benzothiazole‐2‐carbothioates some of which are shown to exhibit interesting antileishmanial activity.
