Zusammenfassung:Normal 0 21 false false false ES-TRAD JA X-NONE This research aims to understand the perception of indian students and teachers about ethno educational literacy process of young and adult people which was developed in Guania-Colombia under the pedagogical model Transformemos Educando, with the suport of the government department and the National Education Ministry. The study was based on the Amartya Sen's theory of human capabilities, the ethnographic approach and techniques of participant observation, interviews and focus groups. The main findings are the tendency of native people to think their traditional knowledge are not taken into account in the educational process, multilingual education facilitates communication in the classroom, appropriation of content, meaningful learning and to recognize the importance of contextualized didactic mediations as an effective learning tool. It concludes the need to implement and sustain ethno education policies using inclusive teaching to ensure the conservation of culture and permanence of students in school.
