Zusammenfassung: | The documentary languages, with the aim of facilitating access to the document by the user, configured in a complex system of representation of recorded knowledge. However, with the constant expansion of the various branches of knowledge and, therefore, its publications, the need arises to develop notations for classifying new topics or simply improve representation as to its specificity. Given this phenomenon, this article aims to make a survey and analysis of proposed expansion of Universal Decimal Classification and the Dewey Decimal System, with the aim to demonstrate not only the feasibility of the extension of any previously existing classifications, but mainly keep updated the bibliographic classification, which aims to represent knowledge, and if it changes, it is important that ratings go hand in hand. To permit this article, did a literature search to identify and analyze proposed expansion / upgrade of existing bibliographic classification systems, more precisely the Oak and the Netherlands (for the area of law), Tabosa and Cardoso (rabbits race) and Albuquerque (and popular musical literature). This work does not pretend to solve the possible vacancies in bibliographic classification , but rather to sensitize the reader to the importance of continuous updating these representations, with the goal of keeping the user in constant condition to locate the information they need to ease, since science and society are constantly changing, which requires the tools and techniques used to represent information flexibility and Adaptability. |
