Zusammenfassung: | This article aims to highlight the potential of YouTube as a source of information. Emphasizes the use of this social media for the fashion and beauty market as a source of strategic information and as a tool for market monitoring, as well as to serve as an instrument in the virtual environment, which enables the realization of a company marketing goods and services and users' marketing of social media. Uses bibliographic survey and data analysis to present the main concepts of fashion, information management, information sources and strategic information. Contextualizes the field of information studies and the new available information resources on Internet. Shows the differences between the concepts of social networking and social media. It concludes that YouTube can be used as a source of information and communication that fosters the sharing of ideas, dissemination of information for businesses and to users of this platform. |
