Zusammenfassung:This article aimed to analyze the librarians ' perception about their own quality of life at work, as well as profiling these professionals. From the theoretical point of view, the article focuses on Librarians' quality of life as following: its importance and benefits and the Walton's theoretical model. The choice of this model ran from their complexity compared to other models of quality of life at work. In the methodology, a structured questionnaire was applied using the Walton's proposed criteria and indicators. The covered population consists of 103 librarians, all registered in the Regional Council of Librarianship, in the state of Ceara. Descriptive statistics was processed with Microsoft Excel aid. It was evident that these professionals are satisfied in most of the categories identified in the Walton's theoretical model. In contrast, they showed dissatisfaction in fair and adequate compensation categories and working conditions. In the latter category evidenced in its entirety the Librarians' dissatisfaction.
