Zusammenfassung:The rhodium‐catalyzed cycloisomerization reaction of 2‐alkynyl‐N′‐arylidenebenzohydrazides is reported. The reaction provides 4‐alkenylphthalazin‐1(2 H)‐ones through an intramolecular exo‐carboamination. Hook, line and sinker: 2‐Alkynyl‐N′‐arylidenebenzohydrazides underwent cycloisomerization via an intramolecular exo‐carboamination to afford 4‐alkenylphthalazin‐1(2 H)‐ones in the presence of a catalytic amount of [RhCl(cod)]2 (cod=1,5‐cyclooctadiene).
