Editorial

Denard thanks his predecessor, Sallie Goetsch, and others for helping him to assemble his first issue as editor. He says the journal's mission can be summed up in the word "interaction." Denard expresses the journal's hope that interactions among students, teachers, scholars, theater practitioners, resource-providers, publishers and educational and cultural institutions will enable students, scholars and artists to expand the frontiers of their individual and collective work.
