The Marginalization of Music: The American Example
Only 9% of adults in the US report attending a classical concert in a single year. But they represent a large population and thirty years ago, the percentage was only 13%. The reasons they are not coming to concerts may range from the pricing of tickets to the programming and framing of concerts.
