Zusammenfassung: | Smartphone is a combination of PDA and telephony. It can be explained in terms of more powerful CPU, more powerful RAM, plenty of storage space, superior connectivity options and larger screen than a regular cell phone. iPhone credited for changing the industry forever. The most common mobile operating systems worldwide are Android and iOS. In order to meet the criteria as a superphone, a Smartphone should have key features that drastically exceed not only those of other cell-phones but also than other consumer gadgets.
Modern advances to mobiles mean that if a mobile is lost than risk is many a times more than the risk of simply losing contacts and text messages. It is expected that in very near future Smartphone technology will be revolutionized both in terms of presently available technology which promises breakthrough like Augmented Reality, SIRI for flawless voice controls, high quality Projector phones, broad and better biometrics security options, wearable’s like Google glasses etc. At present there are researches going on throughout world to enhance Mobile technology and ‘PaperFold’ is a foldable Smartphone prototype which is developed at Queensland University. It is able to bend, twist, and print 3-D objects. |
