Zusammenfassung: | Organizational environments require individuals prepared to adapt to changes inherent in these kinds of contexts. The decision-making process constitutes a key element in the organization and in that sense; it is relevant to understand its importance to organizational processes. From this perspective, some informational activities are decisive, among them can mention the mapping of existing information flows, as well as analyze the generations present in these environments because in general there is different generations working together, as for example: Veterans Generation; Baby Boomers Generation; X Generation; Y Generation; Z Generation. Competitive Intelligence process, moreover, is indispensable to create strategies to take advantage of the specificities of these generations. It can be observed, that besides the age, each generation has its specificities and for this reason, must be known by the managers, and because the combination of these generations in organizational environments allied to other aspects is what constitutes the organizational culture. Upon this, the aim of this paper is to present the relationship between different generations, the organizational intelligence process and some thoughts on the challenges and perspectives found in this context. Therefore, we used a theoretical review focusing on the studies of these generations, organizational intelligence, organizational environments and decision-making process. As a result, it highlights the importance of understanding individuals as key elements to generate competitive advantages. |
