Zusammenfassung:We discuss the reasons for the significant increase in the conductivity of diamonds upon holding them in tungstate- and molybdate-containing melts and justify a hypothesis according to which the conductivity of diamonds and the possibility of electrolytic deposition of coatings on diamonds appears due to the formation of thin layers of tungsten and molybdenum carbides on their surface.
