Zusammenfassung: | A woman in her late 40s with no medical history presented as comatose (Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score, 8) after a suicide attempt, where she inhaled the fumes of burning charcoal for approximately 4 h. On admission, her blood pressure was 108/70 mm Hg, and her heart rate was 118 bpm. Supportive mechanical ventilation was employed, and she became alert after 48 h. A physical examination revealed no abnormal findings except for left leg weakness, and a neurological examination demonstrated hyperactive left knee tendon and Achilles tendon reflexes. |
