Zusammenfassung:The innovation process is one of the most important things for the development of organizations, mainly for the ones that want to be market leaders. To reach this position the company should have a structured innovation strategy and focus on the human assets. Moreover, it is necessary to develop the skills and abilities of employees with the purpose to encourage the innovative spirit in each individual. Thus, the human resources areas have to develop an innovation culture and support the organization in the attainment of its goals. In this context this work presents an analytical tool to do a diagnostic about the degree of innovation of a company focused in the area of human resources. A general view about the subject is presented and a case study was developed in an innovative company. A survey was done with 36 respondents from the human resources area considering managerial and operational level. The objective was to analyze how the innovation degree of the human resources area can influence the innovation degree of the whole organization. Through the interviews and the survey with the innovation and human resources experts it was possible to identify that the innovation culture is disseminated in the human resources area.
