Ögretmen Adaylarinin Ozon Tabakasindaki Incelme ve Asit Yagmurlarina Yönelik Görüsleri/Pre-Service Teachers' Perceptions towards the Ozone Layer Depletion and Acid Rain

The purpose of this research is to receive views of pre-service teachers' in various branches of state universities about the ozone layer depletion and acid rain. The study group of this research consists of pre-service teachers who were students in various teaching departments in 20122013 academic year spring semester. 35 pre-service teachers are in the participant group. Phenomenology research design is used in this research. The data of the research were gathered by means of the half-developed eight interview questions prepared by the researchers. The content analysis of the qualitative data methods was used to resolve the gathered qualitative data. Data is analysed with the programme called HyperRESEARCHTM 2.6.1. According to the results of the study, it is reached that, pre-service science teachers' knowledge level about ozone layer depletion is sufficient but they do not have sufficient information about precautions of ozone layer's damages. Also it is reached that, pre-service science teachers do not have enough knowledge about acid rain formation and precautions to acid rains damage.
