Zusammenfassung: | There are innumerable sources of air pollution, as well as his control is key to promoting an environment with less potential risk to human health. Thus, this study aims to reveal the establishment and use of ventilation systems in order to reduce the emission of atmospheric material, more specifically particulate matter generated by a furniture factory, adopting a mechanical system for this industrial site known as local exhaust ventilation (LEV). The main target of control equipment are: circular saw, planer, sander and band saw. To establish the system dimensioning to its essential components such as sensors, ducts, fan and a cyclone for segregation of waste collected. In this study, the design was based on the method of Static Balancing, which is conceived through the design of stations, listing their captors in the load loss, pipelines, and singularities. Thus, the end point of the network presented a static pressure of 106.75 mmca, and fan designed to move the air must have a rated power of 2.45 hp (2.42 hp). The cyclone was rated for a flow of 1.14 m³/s (2415 cfm). |
