ChemInform Abstract: Amberlite IR-120H: An Efficient and Recyclable Heterogeneous Catalyst for the Synthesis of Pyrrolo[1,2-a]quinoxalines and 5'H-Spiro[indoline-3,4'-pyrrolo[1,2-a]quinoxalin]-2-ones

Amberlite-catalyzed reactions of pyrrole (II) with aldehydes or isatine derivatives allow the synthesis of the title species under mild conditions in the absence of an oxidant.
