ChemInform Abstract: Alkene‐Directed N‐Attack Chemoselectivity in the Gold‐Catalyzed [2 + 2 + 1]‐Annulations of 1,6‐Enynes with N‐Hydroxyanilines

Gold‐catalyzed reaction of 1,6‐enynes with N‐hydroxylamines generates trisubstituted nitrone intermediates which are trapped by the internal alkene to give bi‐ or polycyclic isoxazolines stereospecifically.
