Zusammenfassung:The Work and Organizational Psychology has studied with great intensity the mental health at work, but there are almost no investigations about the possibility of working for people living with mental illness, which is a phenomenon that has been studied in the Areas exclusively dedicated to health. Thus, this paper aimed to propose a theoretical reflection about the relation between work and "madness" grounded at the Social Psychology of Work and make theoretical, technical, programmatic and political propositions, besides indicating its importance to this specific interdisciplinary field of the study. As a conclusion, the contemporary world of work has been, at the same time, the world of precarization and the world of opportunities, especially for people living with mental suffering.
