Zusammenfassung:This paper addresses the teacher training models in science subjects that have been developed during recent decades. It reviews the historical development of these models and approaches teacher training for science subjects from the perspective of educational change theories. Transference to practice Given the scholarly character of this paper and the fact that it addresses various models of teacher training, its transference to educational practice is directly aimed to those who propose changes in world views, conceptions, attitudes and practices in the teaching of science subjects. On the other hand, this material is believed to be useful when relating these models to research on culture budgets, in order to perceive educational practices of teachers as activities with social effects.
