Zusammenfassung: | The Front Cover shows a continuous high‐pressure gas evolution system over 120 MPa without any compressing procedure, followed by a vapor‐liquid H2 separation. In their Communication, Iguchi et al. found that high‐pressure gas evolution with a high rate into H2 and CO2 from formic acid can be obtained under mild reaction conditions in the presence of water‐soluble homogeneous Ir catalyst, and no CO was detected even at the maximum pressure (123 MPa). They further developed the H2 separation system, and 85 mol % of high‐pressure H2 gas can be concentrated by a simple vapor‐liquid separation. Their system has the potential to be used as a simple and easy to handle system for the generation of high‐pressure H2 to feed to fuel cell vehicles.
