Zusammenfassung: | The purpose of this study is to analyzethe association existing between subjective well-being and professional performance taking into account three aspects: task performance, organizational citizenship behavior and counterproductive work behaviors. The results indicate the fact that significant association exist between subjective well-being and the three aspects of professional performance. Thus, we can assert that employees whose main task is monitoring in the context of a schedule that involves work in day shifts alternating with night shifts and who have an overall sense of satisfaction in life tend to manifest fewer counterproductive work behaviors, more organizational citizenship behaviors and increased task performance. The results we have obtained validate the use of the subjective well-being in the procedures of human resources management for this professional category, taking into account the fact that subjective well-being has a substantial stable component. |
