ChemInform Abstract: Selective Rhodium‐Catalyzed Reduction of Tertiary Amides in Amino Acid Esters and Peptides

A highly selective reduction of N‐acylated amino acid derivatives to the corresponding N‐alkylated products is developed using PhSiH3 in the presence of a Rh(II)‐catalyst.
