Zusammenfassung: | It known the conventional methods of raw silk production need an extremely large quantity of energy. The purpose of the experiment reported here was to search for energy-saving and eco-friendly production methods of raw silk. We presented so-called “the salt solution method” as a method to meet our purpose. When the cocoon was stored in a concentrated salt solution under room temperature 30 and 40°C for more than 30days. it was possible to reel the raw silk with the water at room temperature (2 and 30°C). We compared the properties of raw silk produced by the three different methods consisting of the flesh cocoon reeling method, salting method and the salt solution method. As a result, the salt solution method was found to accommodates to the method of our purpose. In addition, we confirmed that this method of the production of silk thread keeps the original properties. The mechanism of silk reeling has been discussed with experimental data obtained from the salt solution method. We hope that detailed answers will be forthcoming from experiments now in progress. |
