Zusammenfassung:Nowadays decision support systems are essential in any organization management. CIMEX Corporation, a major Cuban trading enterprise, has extensive experience in developing computer solutions over the years which progressively evolved in response to experts and managers informational requirements. Different business areas -such as trade, economic and human resources-have historically handled through independent solutions, making difficult particular results integration and widespread information analysis. This paper outlines main milestones of knowledge management progression in the company from computational point of view. Projected solution is based on an extension and enrichment of current data warehouse. Built-in analytical capabilities have been implemented over tabular model, supported on columnar storage and in-memory database technologies and provided by Microsoft SQL Server. In addition, the own version allows driving business success based on main key performance indicators. Companies' dashboards enable design and control of tactical and strategic plans. Finally, a first approach of data mining process is applied to predict critical behavior measurements.
