ChemInform Abstract: Harnessing C—H Borylation/Deborylation for Selective Deuteration, Synthesis of Boronate Esters, and Late Stage Functionalization

A convenient synthesis of mono‐borylated heterocycles can be achieved by C—H diborylation followed by regioselective mono‐deborylation with methanol in the presence of [Ir(OMe)(cod)]2 as catalyst.
