DIAGNÓSTICOS DE ENFERMAGEM EM MULHERES USUÁRIAS DE BOTA DE UNNA

This study aimed to discuss nursing diagnoses in women affected by leg ulcers and wearing Unna boots. This qualitative study involved 8 adult women affected by leg ulcer and under compression therapy in a healthcare unit. Data was collected from in-depth interviews and then submitted to content analysis and diagnostic reasoning based on NANDA-I Taxonomy II - I, 2012-2014. In the results 16 diagnostic categories were identified in the following: Coping/stress tolerance, Life Principles, Self-perception, Comfort, Sexuality, Activity/rest and Safety/protection. The interviewed parties deposited a great deal of expectation of cure in relation to the effects of the Unna boots, which tend to modify during the evolvement of the treatment. It is concluded that the successful outcome of the therapy promotes optimism and the lack of success of relapses generate despair. / Objetivou-se discutir os diagnósticos de enfermagem em mulheres com úlceras de perna, usuárias da bota de Unna. Pesquisa qualitativa, que envolveu oito mulheres adultas com úlcera de perna em terapia compressiva, numa unidade de saúde. Os dados foram colhidos em 2013, por meio de entrevistas em profundidade e submetidos a análise de conteúdo e associados ao diagnóstico da Taxonomia II, NANDA-I, 2012-2014. Nos resultados foram identificadas 16 categorias diagnósticas nos seguintes domínios: Enfrentamento/tolerância ao estresse, Princípios da vida, Autopercepção, Conforto, Sexualidade, Atividade/repouso e Segurança/proteção. As entrevistadas depositam muitas expectativas de cura sobre os efeitos da bota de Unna, que tendem a modificar com a evolução do tratamento. Concluiu-se que os êxitos da terapia promovem otimismo e os insucessos das recidivas geram desesperança.
