Zusammenfassung:Pesticides used for intensive agricultural production threaten natural resources and human health. The aim of this study is to analyze the use of pesticides in the Marahoue watershed (MW) to identify potential risks of pollution of its water resources, including surface. A collection of data on pesticide use was conducted among agribusiness and support structures. The estimated costs of active ingredients was carried out thereafter. The results show that the most commonly used molecules on the MW is the category of insecticides. The high applied loads have affected the Triazophos (68.9 t) and Profenofos (26.4 t) in 1998, Endosulfan (63.3 t) and Profenofos (23.7 t) in 2000, Endosulfan (6.1 t) and Chlorpyrifos-ethyl (2.7 t) in 2002 and Endosulfan (35.7 t) and Profenofos (19.9 t) in 2005. Forty matieres actives of agricultural pesticides are applied in the chemical Bassin Versant de la Marahoue distributed in 22 families. Whatever that year, pesticide family organochlorine and organophosphorus were used in proportion, more than 50% of the total mass applied.
