MATTHEW ADLER: THE COST-BENEFIT ANALYSIS AND DISTRIBUTIONAL WEIGHTS RENMIN UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL VIRTUAL WORKSHOP SERIES (2014)

On Nov 6, 2014, the 4th Renmin University International Virtual Workshop (RUIVW) was held as the second Renmin-Duke Law Workshop Series at Renmin Law School. Scholars from Renmin and Duke Law Schools, including Paul Haagen, ZHANG Taisu, GUO Rui, LIU Junhai, YANG Dong, HU Tianlong, YAO Haifang, XIONG Bingwan and YANG Guang, participated in the workshop to discuss Professor Matthew D. Adler's (Duke Law School) paper on the cost-benefit analysis (hereinafter "the CBA") and distributional weights. GUO Rui (Renmin Law School) served as the moderator for the workshop. Duke Law School Dean David F. Levi and Renmin Law School Dean HAN Dayuan both gave short remarks to welcome the participants from the two law schools. They also both expressed their appreciation of the opportunities for the two law schools to exchange and share ideas through video conferences and their excitement about potential future cooperation.
