ChemInform Abstract: Photocatalytic Oxidative Heterocyclization of Semicarbazones: An Efficient Approach for the Synthesis of 1,3,4-Oxadiazoles

An efficient and metal‐free method for the one‐pot synthesis of various 5‐substituted 2‐amino‐1,3,4‐oxadiazoles (II) utilizing visible light and atmospheric oxygen under mild reaction conditions is developed.
