Afro-America: A Symposium

A symposium for Afro-America is presented. Often one finds that what is direct and sensible in suggesting what ought to be done entirely misses the essential point--ignores for example the deep psychological roots of fundamental problems or the spiritual aspirations of people whose material disadvantages are but an aspect of their condition. The growth of Afro-American middle class is something to be applauded, whatever the problems which may exist in terms of lack of wealth.
