Infância e educação Guarani: para não esquecer a palavra /Guarani childhood and education: for not to forget the word

The encounter with the Guarani cosmology, through their children, has revealed itself as an encounter with the antique word that the Guarani don't want to forget, for it is about the meaning of the house, the home of our knowledge. The Opy as a "university" of the Guarani and the village as a place for collective education in which each one can find the best of themselves point both to the educational values sustained in an ethic and poetic rooted to the "being" of the Amerindian philosophy of Kusch and to the sources of a thought that mix the everydayness with the mysterious and transcendent. The drawing of the children and the living together at the schools of two Guarani villages emerge as a starter for the dialogue between elders, youngsters and adults both Guarani and non-Guarani, in the experience of learning that pulses sorely between the word of the being of the Amerindian and the Western being.
