Zusammenfassung:We reviewed and categorized all published articles in The Volta Review over a 40-year time period (1970-2013) to highlight the publishing trends. Qualitative and quantitative results are reported regarding the publications during this time period. The review resulted in the identification of 13 broad themes and secondary themes within the majority of the identified themes. Our findings indicate that the number of articles published has decreased as have the number of issues published each year. Multiple author publications were more prevalent during the 1990s. Teaching, communication, and technology were the most predominant themes during the four-decade analysis. Results offer insight regarding research published in The Volta Review over the last 40 years.
