Zusammenfassung: | Job insecurity is a condition in which employees have a fear of losing his/her job depending on the thought of uncertainty. In literature, turnover intention, one of the results of job insecurity, is defined as an employee's intention to leave his/ her job soon. In this study, the interaction between job insecurity and turnover intention was tested on the samples of 1,073 workers working in tourism industry in Alanya. According to the research findings, it was determined that there is a positive and high level correlation between job insecurity and turnover intention. On the other hand according to the regression analysis findings, job insecurity is effective on turnover intention at the mid-level. It is also found that job insecurity and turnover intention of employees change according to different demographic variables. |
